01Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to every booking made with luxurydhowcruise.ae, trading as Luxury Dhow Cruise ("we", "us" or "our"), whether made through our website, by phone, WhatsApp, live chat, email or through a booking partner.

By making a booking or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and every guest included in your booking. If you do not agree, please do not book with us.

02Our Services

We offer shared and private dhow dinner cruises in Dubai, including Dubai Marina, Dubai Creek, Dubai Water Canal and Al Seef, as well as private charters, celebration packages and seasonal events such as New Year's Eve cruises.

Cruise inclusions (buffet dinner, welcome drinks, soft drinks, live entertainment such as Tanoura dance, and any transfers) are as described on the relevant package page at the time of booking. Package details, timings and menus may be updated from time to time.

03Bookings and Confirmation

• All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once you receive a written confirmation or e-voucher from us by email or WhatsApp.
• You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking, and you are responsible for the booking of every guest you include.
• Please check your confirmation carefully. Tell us about any error in names, dates, guest numbers or pickup details as soon as possible. We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect information provided at the time of booking.
• Please carry your confirmation (printed or on your phone) and a valid photo ID, such as an Emirates ID or passport, for boarding.

04Prices and Payment

• All prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.
• Child rates apply to children within the age range shown on each package page. We may ask for proof of a child's age at boarding, and the adult rate will apply if this cannot be shown.
• Payment can be made online by card through our secure payment provider, or by any other method we confirm in writing. Some bookings, such as private charters and peak-date cruises, may require a deposit or full payment in advance.
• If your card is charged in a different currency, your bank may apply its own exchange rate and fees, which are outside our control.
• Prices on the website may change without notice, but the price confirmed at the time of booking will not change once your booking is confirmed and paid.

05Cancellations, Changes and Refunds

Cancellations and changes are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary:

• Cancellation by you: requests must be sent in writing by email or WhatsApp. Refund eligibility depends on how far in advance you cancel, as set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
• No-shows and late arrivals: guests who do not arrive by the boarding time, or who miss their pickup, are treated as a no-show and are not entitled to a refund.
• Date changes: we will try to move your booking to another date, subject to availability. Price differences may apply.
• Special dates: New Year's Eve, other public holiday events and private charters may be non-refundable or have stricter terms, which will be stated at the time of booking.
• Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank processing times may vary.

06Changes or Cancellation by Us

Your safety comes first. We may delay, shorten, re-route or cancel a cruise because of bad weather, sea conditions, instructions from the Dubai Maritime Authority or other authorities, technical issues, or other reasons outside our control.

Where we cancel a cruise before departure, you may choose a new date at no extra cost or a full refund of the amount paid for that cruise. We may also replace your vessel with one of a similar standard, or adjust the route or programme, where needed.

07Boarding, Timings and Transfers

• Boarding and cruising times are shown on each package page and on your confirmation. Please arrive at the boarding point at least 15 minutes before boarding time.
• The cruise departs on schedule and cannot wait for late guests.
• Hotel pickup and drop-off are available at an additional fee for selected areas. Pickup times are approximate and may vary with traffic. Please be ready in your hotel lobby at the confirmed time.
• Transfers are shared unless a private transfer has been booked. Waiting times at pickup points are limited.

08Guest Conduct and Safety

All guests must follow the instructions of the captain and crew at all times. To keep everyone safe and comfortable:

• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout the cruise.
• Guests must not climb on railings, sit on the edges of the vessel or enter restricted areas.
• Outside food, drinks, alcohol, glass bottles, illegal substances and dangerous items are not allowed on board.
• Alcohol, where offered on licensed vessels, is served only to guests aged 21 and over, in line with UAE law.
• Smoking is allowed only in designated areas, where available.
• Guests must respect UAE laws and local customs, including modest dress and respectful behaviour.

The crew may refuse boarding or remove any guest who appears intoxicated, behaves in an unsafe or offensive way, or ignores safety instructions. No refund will be given in these cases.

09Health, Accessibility and Dietary Needs

• Please tell us at the time of booking about any medical condition, pregnancy, mobility needs or wheelchair use, so we can advise whether the cruise is suitable.
• Some vessels and boarding points have steps or uneven surfaces and may not be fully wheelchair accessible.
• Vegetarian options are available on our buffets. If you have a food allergy or special dietary need, please inform us in advance. We will do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from allergens.

10Personal Belongings and Liability

• You are responsible for your personal belongings at all times. We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal items on board, during transfers or at boarding points.
• You are responsible for any damage you or members of your group cause to the vessel, its equipment or other guests' property.
• To the extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed connections, travel arrangements or other bookings affected by a delay or cancellation.
• Our total liability for any claim connected with a booking will not exceed the amount you paid for that booking.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.

11Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in providing our services caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government or port restrictions, public health measures, strikes, power or system failures, or civil unrest. In such cases we will offer a new date or refund in line with Section 06 where possible.

12Photography and Media

Our team may take photos or videos on board for promotional use on our website and social media. If you prefer not to appear in any images, please let a crew member know on the day. Guests are welcome to take personal photos, but must respect the privacy of other guests.

13Use of Our Website

• All website content, including text, images, logos and videos, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
• You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or submit false or fraudulent bookings.
• We try to keep all information on the website accurate and up to date, but errors may occur. If a package is listed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before confirming the booking.
• Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for their content.

14Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it and your rights.

15Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.

16Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.
